What I heard from you

Planned by you.
Done right.

A 6:00 PM ceremony outside at Standing Rock Farms, then the reception in 1837, just a few steps away. About 85 to 90 guests, and you are planning every detail yourself.

  • Hair and getting ready around noon, everything within about 20 feet.
  • Photos around 3:00 PM, before your guests arrive.
  • Pictures as the sun goes down. You told me that is the one you want most.
  • Coverage until about 9 or 10 PM, natural, not staged the whole night.
Your venue

1837,
mapped for you.

1837 at Standing Rock Farms
7394 Ross Rd, Madison, OH 44057
A barn first built in 1837 and rebuilt beam by beam. Soaring timber, tall windows, warm natural light, a woodland ceremony site, and a bridal suite on site. Made for about 100 guests, a perfect fit for yours.

Photos are from Standing Rock Farms' own website. I walk the property and map the light before August 20.

Planning it all yourself?
I will be the one thing
you never worry about.

Organized, professional, and ahead of every moment. You will have the full agenda in hand before the day arrives.

Your golden hour

Sunset on August 20
is 8:19 PM.

You told me the pictures as the sun goes down are the ones you want most. Here is the plan.

  • Around 7:50 PM we step out for 15 to 20 minutes, while the light is low and warm.
  • I scout the spot ahead of time, so we walk straight there. No guessing.
  • Then you are back inside 1837 for the party, and nobody misses you.
How I work

Warm, golden,
and invisible.

Editorial imagery with real light and a warm golden finish. On the day itself, you will barely know I am there, and you will love what you see.

  • One photographer, one consistent eye. I only book one wedding a day. The day is yours.
  • I arrive 1 hour early, at no extra cost, so the setup never takes from your time.
  • If the party is rolling, an hour before I wrap I check in, and you decide on the spot whether to keep going.

A few questions for you two

So I can plan every frame.

First look?
Before, or at the aisle
Seeing each other at 3:00 PM gives us relaxed portraits. Waiting for the aisle is beautiful too. Your call.
Getting ready
Where is Eric?
Jessica in the bridal suite. Where is Eric getting ready, so I can catch you both?
Your people
Wedding party and family
How many are standing with you, and who is on the family photo list?
The details
Rings, invitations, heirlooms
Bring anything with a story. I shoot the small things in soft window light.
Must-haves
The shots you dream of
Any picture you already see in your head? Send it, and I plan around it.
Rain plan
If the sky changes
The ceremony is outside. If it rains, where does it move? I map that spot too.

Let's make something
worth seeing twice.

Jessica and Eric, I would be honored to photograph your day. A ceremony in the woods, a celebration under 1837's old beams, and that sunset. Your date is reserved, and I cannot wait.
